Five on Friday: Random

Good Morning & Happy Friday!!

I am excited that this weekend is a long weekend. Not that I have any plans for my extended day off but an extra day to sleep it is always welcome! The pools are opening up today at my apartment complex and I might indulge in some laying out since it will be NINETY this weekend here!

Since it is Friday and I love lists, let's do this Five on Friday thing...

(one) I am still obsessed with cowboys...blame it on the rodeo. It isn't just the attractive cowboys...I am fasicinated by the lifestyle and learning more about it. I can't say the rodeo was my first exposure because I have followed The Pioneer Woman for a long time and her ranch life has always been something I have admired and loved reading about.

(couldn't help it...I laughed out loud at this....)

(two) I have gotten back into working out/healthy eating. I am tracking all my food/exercise in My Fitness Pal app! Even the 2 fun size candy bats I ate yesterday ._.

(three) I love my new hair. Seriously. I am so glad I bit the bullet and chopped the 4-5 inches off. It not only looks healthier but I feel a little sassier because it looks better!

(four) I need to go grocery shopping badly this weekend. This is a payday weekend so stocking up on fruit, veggies, and all the good stuff is a must do for me.

(five) My allergies suck. I have my physical next week and I honestly might have to beg for a nasal spray because it is brutal. The Zyrtec alone ain't cuttin' it. I had a sneezing fit while driving the other day and it wasn't pretty. Can't even have the windows open! I think my body is adjusting to Tennessee's allergens as well.

Have a great weekend friends and enjoy the extra time off! :)

BONUS...here is some eye candy for the road :)

DOUBLE BONUS...a country song I'm diggin' at the moment!

  1. Haha! Hell yes to cowboys!!! Good for you tracking every little thing, especially those dang candy bars. I can't wait for that extra day to sleep in.

  2. TN has some of the highest pollen counts in the country. I had to go on allergy shots when I moved here and it was the best decision ever. I have year round allergies though.

    Have a great weekend!

  4. Ugh, my allergies have been killer lately, too. I'm like an old woman with the amount of Kleenexes I always have near me! Yay for a new haircut! I chopped 5 inches off a few months ago and it was the best decision ever! Hope you have a wonderful weekend :)
